End of Semester Work

Hey folks!

Well the first semester of Ringling is over and I can't believe it. It seems like it went by really fast. I just thought I'd share my final projects from a few of my classes. For drawing, I produced a narrative animation about a character I've been developing through the class.

Here's to waiting for next semester to get here fast.

Toy Project

Ah its done! Here is my toy project for 3D Design. The idea is called Smart Mouths. Basically just a series of collectable tongues based off different sayings like "Cats Got Your Tongue" " Tongue Tied" "Big Mouth" and more. I decided to do three of the ideas I came up with for the final project. Making the boxes was probably the most complicated part of the whole process. I had a blast making these though. I think I'm going to do more sculpy work during Christmas Break.

Sketches

Here is a couple of unfinished paintings and some sketches from this last semester. The paintings were done on my phone using the sketchbook app by autodesk.

Gestures, hands, and more

First semester at Ringling is going incredibly fast. There is already less then two months left before winter break begins. In the mean time life has been going on. I've had the pleasure of participating in the YEA! program that Ringling sponsors to educate local kids about art. My partner and I have been teaching a local elemantary school kids about some of the art that goes into animation. Last weeks project was to do wire gestures of actions. Everyone had a blast (including myself) and the kids ended up really enjoying it. Some of the projects turned out really well so I thought I'd post a few of them here.

And here is the rest of the stuff I've been doing.
